We have seen the coronavirus infection spread around the world in a rapid rate requiring certain countries to lockdown their own citizens inside their homes, limit mobility, paralyze certain sectors of the economy, and close their borders until further notice.
It has become alarming and it will continue to spread. What should have been contained at an early stage became pandemic and it has become a global problem. People cannot continue with their lives, events and gatherings are being cancelled, and for a while, the world seem to suddenly stop.
And now, the news are discussing the problem in different approaches. As governments turn to every solution, the disease just keeps on spreading. It keeps on threatening the world, and everyone is a target. The world is at war with an unseen enemy.
As journalists and politicians try seeking a resolve, the problem now has turned into a debate. Debates trigger emotions, it confuses everybody, and a lot is going on and it keeps on dragging. But yet, solution after solution fail and this fuels the question: what should be done and what can we do to stop it from happening again? And what now?
This debate must now decide on the proper approach, as problems require different approaches. Is a military solution the right way? What can we do to at least stop the spread? Where is the medical solution?
All of us are watching with unabated breath.
