The Shroud of Trump's Reelection

Whether President Trump want it or not, the world is unfolding while his campaign is set to take off for his untimely reelection bid. A lot of things are happening around us. There is, for one, the coronavirus which brought a shocking death toll to the country, not to mention the huge crowds gathering for Black Lives Matter Movements across several states that exposes the population to greater risks in contracting the disease.

Politicians are also quick to respond to allegations of Russian bounty to kill American troops in Afghanistan, as well as threatening sanctions against China with the passage of a controversial anti-terror bill in Hong Kong.

Liberties are being assaulted anew, and it tests our common resolve in protecting democratic values amid several issues that surrounds our concept of freedoms, and by doing so, it also divides the nation as the unnecessary consequence of majority rule.

Now, the world is faced with greater threat of hidden elements orchestrating numerous attacks on these freedoms. Most of them are hiding in plain sight, and there are rhetoric everywhere that is dressed like a royal that puts to shame socialist ideals in broad daylight, with or without its crown.

Whatever happens as the year unfolds until November, we have to remain vigilant for the rest of us. Those who are intelligent enough must comply with the obligation of defending what is being exploited for the own agenda of certain people. More than ever, we must raise our voice, uncover the shroud that masks the dead ideals, and watch in anticipation for the result of the elections later this year.
