How far can the President go?

A lot of people are raising issues on how the government actually handled the pandemic. Several fingers were pointed everywhere, to China for being the ground zero of the coronavirus to President Trump, where Americans dying have reached an alarming level.

Criticisms on government policies are not uncommon, although these unrest usually result in massive protests, as what happened in France's budget. Often times, people are demanding reforms on pensions, wages, and labor practices, and these protests are a legitimate parochial concern.

However, there are some elements of society that have everything to say about government policies that it is impossible to govern without drawing flak from these groups whose intentions are not only suspicious but questionable. The President must act on problems in all levels, and people has everything to say about them.

President Trump has been repeatedly attacked on COVID-19 response, and, really, how far can the President go? Threre were constitutional concerns on lockdowns, hospitals are responding to patients, ventilators are procured for the purpose. And yet, Americans are still dying from the novel disease.

Sometimes, people are just opening their mouths just for the sake of advancing their own selfish agenda, with no regard on redress of grievances. In fact, they are just floating issues to micromanage the government to swing it to their favor.

Politics is an invisible enemy, just like the coronavirus. And sometimes, the only way to prevent contracting the infection is shut our mouths and cover it with a face mask.
